DIY Bees Wax Wrap Kit

Bees wax wraps are a fantastic alternative to single use plastic wrap as they are durable and reuseable!
Included in the kit:
-
Three precut fabric sheets
-
Bees wax block
What you need:
-
Heat source (e.g., oven, iron)
-
Baking tray
-
Baking paper
-
Paint brush
What you need to do:
-
Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the fabric sheets on the lined baking tray.
-
Grate the beeswax over the fabric (one third of the bees wax block per sheet).
-
Either place the baking tray in the oven (preheated to 160ºC) and wait for the wax to start melting. Once melting, remove from oven and gently brush the wax evenly across the fabric (don't forget the underside!).
-
Alternatively, place another piece of baking paper over the fabric and grated bees wax and press a hot iron evenly over the fabric. Again, once the bees wax is melting, gently brush the wax even across the fabric (don't forget the underside!).
-
Allow to dry and cool. Use in place of cling wrap or soft plastic coverings!
