Our Impact

At Indigibee, our impact reaches beyond bee rescue—we’re building a future where native pollinators, culture, and community thrive together.

Since our founding in 2016, we’ve:

Rescued and relocated hundreds of stingless bee colonies from areas threatened by land clearing, development, and agriculture—helping restore ecological balance in both urban and rural environments.

Delivered workshops and education programs across schools, markets, and community events, teaching thousands of people, especially young people, about native bees, biodiversity, and Indigenous knowledge systems.

Supported the preservation of cultural practices, including the traditional harvesting and use of sugarbag (native bee honey), while creating new ways to share Aboriginal environmental wisdom with the broader public.

Created meaningful conversations about conservation, climate change, and land care by blending science, art, and cultural storytelling, making environmental action more accessible and inclusive.

Provided leadership opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in environmental education and advocacy, encouraging future generations to step into these spaces with pride and purpose.

Every colony saved, every story shared, and every child inspired helps create a healthier, more connected future—for the bees, for Country, and for all of us.
